He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers and sisters. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading, fishing, arrowhead hunting, best spent his time outdoors, and with his children.
Later in life, he went to work for the Salvation Army in De Queen, retiring in 2021.
